Job Title: Accounts / Admin Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Accounts Duties:

  • Overseeing financial operations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Managing budgets
  • Providing financial analysis and advice
  • Managing client relationships
  • Resolving issues related to client accounts
  • Checking for inaccuracies in invoices
  • Handling queries on general accounts
  • Contacting clients about past due amounts
  • Initiating collections for delinquent accounts.

Admin Duties:

  • Acting as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries.
  • Managing office stock.
  • Preparing regular reports (e.g. expenses and office budgets).
  • Organizing company records.
  • Overseeing department budgets.
  • Maintaining inventory of office supplies.
  • Answering telephone calls.
  • Scheduling meetings.
  • Filing documents.
  • Supervising administrative assistants.
  • Coordinating schedules.

Educational Qualification / Skill / Experience

  • HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance & Banking, Economics & Business Administration
  • Must be computer literate and able to use an ERP software
  • Must have at least three years banking experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interpret/report financial information in line withinternational financial reporting standards
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the managing director from time to time.

  • Meet, greetand direct customers in the showroom
  • Maintain a sales diary/customer contact information
  • Develop brochure for products
  • Develop a follow-up plan with existing customers
  • Maintain hygiene and order in the showroom
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the Managing Director from time to time

Educational Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • OND / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering and Building Technology
  • 1 – 5 years of experience.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be conversant with the sales of household appliances
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good negotiator
  • Good digital marketing/sales skills.
