Job Purpose
- To support decision-making through precise financial analysis, comprehensive reporting, and actionable insights that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- This role involves analysing key financial and market trends to ensure the organization responds effectively to inflationary pressures and competitive challenges.
- It also emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and guide strategic initiatives.
Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
Financial Analysis:
- Analyse profitability trends across products, categories, and business units.
- Identify drivers of positive and negative EBITDA and provide actionable insights to management.
- Develop periodic financial reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare reports on macroeconomic trends, including inflation, exchange rates, and their potential impact on the FMCG sector.
- Conduct analysis of FMCG market performance, competitor pricing, and consumer
Pricing and Inflation Management:
- Regularly update raw material cost trends and recommend adjustments to pricing strategies tools.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of raw material prices for reference.

Business Intelligence:
- Gather and organize data from various sources to support business decision-making.
- Create reports and dashboards that highlight key business metrics.
- Perform basic analysis on financial and operational data to identify trends and patterns.

Key Performance Indicators
- Accurate profitability trend reports and actionable insights provided to management.
- Identifying key drivers of negative EBITDA leading to measurable improvements in margins.
- Timely reports on macroeconomic, and FMCG reports delivered on time to stakeholders.
- Frequency and accuracy of raw material cost updates and recommended pricing strategy adjustments
- Number of actionable insights derived from business intelligence reports and dashboards created for decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in Business Intelligence or any relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Excel, Power BI) are an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Business intelligence officer or similar role.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Experience in a QSR company in a similar role is an asset.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Understanding of financial statements, profitability analysis, and key financial metrics like EBITDA, margins, and cost structures.
- Knowledge of macroeconomic factors such as inflation, exchange rates, and their impact on the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization software to create reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Job Purpose

Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
Warehouse Management:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service in the inventory team
- Ensure timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Manage the logistics activities of the division including drivers and other ancillary staff while planning routes and processing shipments
- Maintain inventory control and management
- Ensure optimization of materials flow
- Ensure minimization of stock losses and receiving and or issuing lead times
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Ensure control of all fixed and variable costs

Risk Management:
- Minimize stock losses
- Ensure and monitor adherence to laws, regulations and OHS&E requirements

- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Apply appropriate asset management procedures in order to achieve maximum return on assets
- Perform continuous evaluation of warehouse security and implementation of necessary measures to maintain safety of stock
- Develop preventative maintenance systems and contingency plans.
- Implement business continuity and resumption plans
Strategy and Advisory:
- Identify and implement cost saving measures to reduce Food Concepts’ cost of storing and handling goods/equipment
- Generate and and analyze reports at pre-defined and agreed intervals to aid decisions relating to inventory and working capital management
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvement
- Supervise, coach and train the inventory team
- Active management of the warehouse annual expense budget
Key Performance Indicators
- Timeliness of delivery of stock items to various locations
- The quality/ yield of cost saving initiatives provided
- Quality of risk management/prevention of risk exposure in the warehouse
Job Specifications
- A good first degree in social/management/physical sciences
- Possession of a Post graduate degree in Human Resources/Business Administration/Supply Chain Management or related field is an added advantage
- Membership of the CIPS, CILS, CILCS, CISCOM, Lean Six Sigma or any other related professional qualification is required.
- Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in a similar role, especially in the QSR/Food Industry sector.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of Inventory Management
- Knowledge of Cost management principles
- Knowledge of applicable legislations, as well as policies and procedures
- Demonstrates expertise in Warehouse and logistics management.

Job Purpose
- Responsible for managing key Human Resources Services and Operations in the designated Division.
- Ensure compliance to the labour laws of the government and other agreement reached by the Company and third parties.
Responsibilities
Payroll Management and Other Benefits:
- Prepare and deploy payroll activities every month and ensure all employees’ salaries, benefits and allowances are paid promptly and correctly for business divisions
- Manage the process of gathering and locating MPR from stores and business units. Creating Pre-payroll variance report, which includes but not limited to New hires, disengagement, leave and absence deduction, disciplinary, salary reviews/promotions
- Ensure all input from the Pre-payroll variation and correctly entered into the Human Resources Information System, subject to approvals
- Ensure that payroll report and payroll deduction report reflect all salaries and allowances, and deductions, i.e. statutory or company deduction
- Prepare variance report to show the difference in pay comparison between months and ensure an accurate explanation for the variance as applicable
- Prepare bank payment report, Pension Remittance Report, Tax Remittance Report, and Re-imbursables report. FCMCTS report, Statutory deduction report i.e. NHF, NSITF and any other report as indicated in the payroll activities for each month
- Ensure new hire computation and Termination computation for voluntary and involuntary termination of contract, following the company’s policies and procedures. Communicate to banks of employee exits and ensure that the discharge letter / letter of indebtedness is communicated to the employee as applicable
- Resolve all payroll enquiries, including suspended salaries and allowances, returned salaries, refunds, tax issues, etc.
Reward, Recognition and Employee Welfare:
- Ensure the preparation of all incentives schedule including but not limited to Stores/Business units / Area Manager quarterly incentive program, Product Side Action, Employee of the month etc
- Ensure photos taken in the stores are clear and liaise with Graphic Artist for recognition posters and communicate as applicable.
- Ensure that employees are registered under the company HMO program in line with SLA signed by the Company and the HMO company. Resolving all HMO related issues and ensure staff benefits from the HMO based on plan agreed
- Ensure distribution, replacement of uniforms and accessories to employees
- Ensure staff meal process and documentation for payroll report
- Manage all staff related incident reported through the incident reporting tracker and ensure all incidents are closed and status updated
- Assist in co-ordinating staff forum meetings and any other employee engagement activities as planned in the Company.
Records Administration; Staff Filing, Leave and Certification Verification:
- Keep the records, documents and files relating to all staff within the division
- Track the in and out of the files and the document contents of the file
- Ensure all due correspondences, memos, reports and certificates are tracked in each employee’s files
- Perform any other related task as may be assigned from time to time.
Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Monitor compliance with labor laws and payroll regulations, including FIRS, and state-specific rules.
- Participate in audits (internal and external), preparing requested documents and reports.
- Identify discrepancies or errors and troubleshoot issues to resolution.
- Employee Support & Communication
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide guidance to employees on payroll-related policies, pay statements, and tax forms.
- Coordinate with HR and Benefits teams to ensure proper deductions and benefit enrollments.
