Job Title: Asset Officer
Location: Nigeria

About The Role
- The Asset Officer is responsible for managing the lifecycle of organizational assets, ensuring their efficient use, maintenance, and documentation.
- The role includes asset tracking, audits, repair/maintenance coordination, compliance with regulations, and facilitating asset disposals or replacements as required.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management:
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all company assets, including fixed and low-value assets
- Ensure proper tagging and labeling of all assets for easy identification and tracking
- Coordinate asset acquisition, allocation, and transfer between departments or locations
- Monitor the utilization of assets to ensure optimal use and minimize downtime
Auditing and Documentation:
- Conduct regular asset audits to verify the location, condition, and accuracy of inventory records
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of asset transactions (acquisition, transfer, maintenance, and disposal)
- Prepare detailed reports on asset condition, depreciation, and recommendations for replacements or disposals
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Schedule and oversee the maintenance and repair of assets to ensure their longevity
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for timely repair and maintenance work
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected failures
Disposal and Replacement:
- Assess assets nearing the end of their useful life and recommend disposal or replacement plans
- Coordinate the safe and compliant disposal of obsolete or damaged assets, adhering to organizational and environmental standards
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decisions regarding asset disposal or replacement
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and government regulations related to asset management
- Implement strategies to minimize asset loss, theft, or damage
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during asset audits and inspections
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate periodic reports on asset performance, utilization, and financial impact
- Analyze asset trends to identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
- Assist in budgeting for asset acquisition, maintenance, and replacement
Qualifications And Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or any related field
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in asset, inventory management or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Familiarity with accounting principles, depreciation methods, and asset lifecycle management
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Knowledge:
- Understanding of asset tracking systems and inventory control practices
- Awareness of environmental and safety regulations related to asset disposal
Key Competencies:
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in asset management.

Summary
- We are looking for an equally dynamic Talent Acquisition Officer who will work with the HR Department to identify and recruit qualified candidates for diverse top-level roles within the organization spanning our different African branches.
- The ideal candidate would be responsible for developing organizational standards, defining the requirements for the vacant company positions, and actively seeking out qualified candidates through networking systems and social media marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating with recruiting team and Hiring Managers to define the requirements for vacant roles across Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Tanzania, etc.)
- Maintain resume websites and connect with potential employees across multiple digital platforms.
- Match top-level professionals with high-level employment opportunities.
- Send recruiting emails to passive candidates and follow up when necessary.
- Interact with other departments within the organization to coordinate hiring efforts, including the accounting and legal departments.
- Create or recommend strategies to improve recruiting processes.
- Maintain organized databases with candidates’ data (e.g., in the ATS utilized by the organization).
- Conduct benchmark analyses on compensation and benefits plans for different roles as well as seniority levels.
- Research compensation and benefits for various positions and seniority levels across Africa.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or other related fields.
- Prior experience as a Recruiter, Head-hunter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or related roles.
- Sound knowledge of online/offline sourcing methods.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques (including Boolean search).
- Familiarity with HR databases and Application Tracking Systems.
- Experience in report writing and data analytics.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment
- Professional Human Resource certifications are an added advantage.
Other Skills:
- Excellent communication and persuasion abilities (particularly when making cold calls and sending recruiting emails).
- Ability to make quick decisions.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organisational skills.
- Good decision-making skills.

Job Title:Â Corporate Governance Officer

About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive and detailed-oriented Corporate Governance Officer with 2-3 years post- call experience to join our team.
- The successful candidate will support the Company’s corporate governance team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- This role requires a deep understanding of CAMA, the financial industry and the laws and regulations that governs it.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and coordinating board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas and collating board packs.
- Draft and review board resolutions, minutes of meetings and other corporate governance documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance laws, including CAMA 2020, and manage regulatory filings with CAC.
- Maintain and update corporate governance policies in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory filings and assist in regulatory audits.
- Develop internal compliance processes to mitigate legal and operational risks.
- Provide legal advice, guidance and recommendations to the Company on various corporate governance and regulatory matters.
- Maintain accurate corporate records, agreements, and governance documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an accredited institution.
- A member of the Nigeria Bar Association.
- 2 – 3 years of relevant legal experience in corporate governance and compliance.
- Sound knowledge of corporate, commercial and financial laws.
- Legal drafting and report writing skills.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of Nigeria Corporate Laws, including company incorporation, share capital, share transfers, acquisitions, winding up, e.t.c.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic approach to risk assessment and management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in legal research and Microsoft Office Suite.
