Job Title: Production Manager – Cosmetics

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff.
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
  • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
  • We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our soap body cream production efforts. As the leader of the Manufacturing .team, you’ll be tasked with expanding our production capabilities and driving innovation along the end-to-end value chain.
  • The Soap and body cream production Manager is a pioneer who owns the manufacturing side of our soap-making process and based on experience either directly oversees day-to-day soap and body cream production team and operations or collaborates closely with the manufacturing team(s) in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities.
  • The core focus of the role is on scaling capacity, driving (manufacturing) innovation, process improvement, and optimizing quality.
  • Own the manufacturing process of our soap and body cream production lines.
  • Evaluate, (re)design, and build our current soap packaging process(es).
  • Think outside the box in evaluating alternative production methods and equipment.
  • Lead all day-to-day soap and body cream making activities.
  • Improve the efficiency of the production process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven work experience in FMCG manufacturing – in production roles.
  • Proven proficiency is production analysis.
  • Knowledge of SOPs and Quality Management Systems.
  • Deep understanding of process management and process improvement.
  • A passion for manufacturing and process management.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication and planning skills, be detailed oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able and willing to work in physically demanding production environment.

Job Title: Team Lead – Financial Reporting

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and other management reports for management’s decision making.
  • Support the Head, Finance in preparation of the annual financial statement annual and periodic internal and external audits and attending to auditors’ queries promptly.
  • Managing the Monthly GL reconciliation process; (i) Monthly timelines template table circularization.
  • Provide monthly performance reportto Executive Management.
  • Ensure Management Account is ready and reviewed by the 3rd Working day of every-month.
  • Supports managing the external audit process for financial statements issuance and tax audits, desk reviews during interim and year end audit exercises.
  • Preparation of relevant supporting schedules for statutory audits as and when requested.
  • Monitor regularization of issues raised in external audit management letter an internal audit reports.
  • Prepare statutory annual audit reports and processing of returns to various regulators such as NAICOM (NAICOM’s quarterly and annual reports) and respond to NAICOM
  • Responsible for ensuring that all primary books (both receipts and payments) are approved daily to facilitate the preparation of management reports.
  • Responsible for reviewing the general ledger on a monthly basis to detect and rectify errors and incorrect postings to align all GL balances to the accounts and FS.
  • Coordination and Managing of month end Journals – Before the 24th of every month
  • Oversee the maintenance of non-investment accounting prepayments and accruals schedules and prepare the monthly journals for posting.
  • Supervise the fixed assets register maintenance process and prepare the monthly depreciation journal for posting.
  • Support the Head, Finance in coordinating the tax management, reviews, reports and enquiries and liaise with consultants on company income tax remittance.
  • Supervise the monthly tax remittance of PAYE, WHT and VAT.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • A post graduate degree or MBA in Finance Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
  • Minimum of Six (6) years relevant experience with at least three (3) years mid managerial experience preferably in an Insurance firm.
  • A professional qualification of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Associate status is mandatory.
  • Strong Management skills with a high degree of professionalism & maturity.
  • Time Management and ability to deal with details.
  • Ability to show impartiality and zeal to maintain integrity.

Responsibilities
