Job Title: Facility Officer (Electrical)

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and proactive Facility Officer with strong electrical expertise to manage and maintain electrical systems and general facility infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure optimal functionality, safety compliance, and minimal downtime of all electrical and facility-related operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and power distribution units.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults promptly.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for generators, inverters, and other electrical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor facility equipment performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Supervise third-party contractors handling electrical or maintenance work.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment servicing.
  • Support general facility management duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / Trade Test certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in facility management with strong electrical hands-on experience.
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems, generators, UPS, and basic mechanical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies when required.

Key Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Client Support & Relationship Backing:

  • Support the relationship managers in managing day-to-day client interactions and service requirements.
  • Prepare meeting materials, client presentations and portfolio reports.
  • Attend client meetings where required and document follow-up actions.
  • Track and manage client requests to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for operational client matters.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed client records and documentation.

Portfolio Reporting & Analysis:

  • Support performance tracking, asset allocation analysis and risk monitoring.
  • Assist in preparing investment research summaries and commentary for clients.
  • Coordinate with custodians and platform providers to obtain required data.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all client-facing reporting materials.

Execution & Operational Coordination:

  • Support client onboarding processes including documentation and compliance
  • requirements.
  • Liaise with Operations, Compliance, Investment Advisory and external providers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor transaction processing and follow through to settlement confirmation.
  • Assist with preparation of subscription documents and capital call notices where applicable.
  • Maintain organised records of mandates, agreements and correspondence.
