Job Title: LPG Plant Manager

Location: Agbor (Owa Ekei Road), Delta

Specialization: LPG (Gas)

Job Summary

• The candidate is responsible for overseeing the managing, operating and safety of the company’s Gas plant.

Key Duties

• Manages all Gas Plant operations as well as staff-related matters.
• Maintains excellent standards in all operational activity, driving sales and profitability through the effective deployment and development of LPG cashiers and operators in line with approved budgets.
• Ensures that due process is carried out in the discharge of products and puts in various controls to minimise fraud.
• Facilitates daily stock requests from the LPG terminal.
• Implements measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of products in the plant.
• Facilitates regular facility inspection, maintains high-standard HSE and implements maintenance controls/measures.
• Monitors and reports on market trends, competitor activities and consumer preferences to guide Rainoil’s LPG offering accordingly.
• Reports on LPG sales / financial results to the LPG Coordinator.
• Monitors and evaluates plant operational and marketing results and develops interventions to promote business development and growth.
• Evaluates daily sales of LPG and lodgements.
• Compiles and analyses periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to the LPG Coordinator.
• Manages all technical aspects of operations of the LPG plant, including the storage facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of Second-Class Upper (B.Sc) or HND Upper Credit in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 1–4 years’ experience.
• Honesty, commitment, hardworking and self-motivation.

Description

• Commercial Manager for Gobel Marine to oversee the commercial operations of Gobel Ship and manage vessel chartering activities across the Group, ensuring optimal utilization and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of Gobel Ship operations.
• Drive business development and revenue growth for the marine business.
• Manage vessel chartering activities across the Group.
• Negotiate and oversee commercial contracts and agreements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and provide strategic commercial insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial shipping, vessel chartering, or marine operations.

• Proven experience in contract negotiation and commercial deal structuring.

Job Title: LPG Plant Account Officer

Location: Agbor (Owa Ekei Road), Delta

Job Summary

• To receive and verify payments from customers, as well as maintaining accurate records and books on lodgements and petty cash expenses at the LPG plant.

Key Duties

• Receives and verifies payments from customers.
• Records customer payment details on the Sales Application and Sales Book.
• Prints and issues Sales Receipts to customers.
• Keeps records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checks the cash balance against this record.
• Maintains petty cash records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation and replenishment.
• Disburses funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses.
• Reconciles all received cash recorded in the petty cash book with expenses.
• Ensures safe keeping of cash in the safe in line with cash handling guidelines.
• Maintains all records concerning cash payment and collection.
• Responds to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirements.
• Prepares daily and weekly Sales Collections and Expense Reports for review by the Plant Supervisor and Accounts Officer (Treasury).

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Finance, Accounting or any related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a Finance, Treasury or Accounts function in a similar organisation.
• Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills, data entry accuracy and numerical proficiency.
• High level of integrity, ethical conduct and financial accuracy.
• Good communication, customer service and organisational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Summary

• To ensure a smooth and uninterrupted flow of operations at the station, through effective utilization of human and material resources, and ensuring that staff at the station adhere to the rules/ regulations/ policies that govern conducts in Rainoil.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates station operational and marketing results and develops interventions to promote business development and growth.
• Evaluation of daily sales, meter reading, dipping and lodgements.
• Compiles and analyses periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to the Head, Retail Sales.
• Maintains excellent standards in all retail activity, driving sales and profitability through the effective deployment and development of station supervisors and cashiers in line with approved budgets.
• Coordinates both the sales of white products, the lubricants at the stations and liaising with the marketing team to ensure patronage is high in line with budgets and projections. 6. Implements HSE Standards and controls in the retail stations.

• To manage the petty cash inflow and outflow of Rainoil’s stations and depots as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
• Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
• Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
• Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
• Reconcile all received cash, which has been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
• Process payment for accounts and issuing receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of all income and expenses, and regularly reconcile the cash balance against these records.
• Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
• File all documents concerning cash payment and collection.
• Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirement etc.
• Prepare daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.

Requirements

• A minimum of an HND/BSc. in accounting, economics or Finance
• Minimum of One years’ relevant experience
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
