Job Title: Fixed Income / Money Market Officer

Responsibilities
- Provide a vital service to the Front Office by ensuring that all funds flow in a timely and accurate manner and that all the necessary documentation is completed.
- To ensure that trades are confirmed and settled appropriately in accordance with best market practice recommendations.
- Judicious settlement of Treasury Bills and Bonds via the Scripless Securities Settlement System (“S4”) platform and Q-ex platform
- Daily preparation of Maturity Profile i.e. Takings/Placements with Banks/Discount Houses-Unsecured, OBB Takings/Placements, to enable swift rendition of monthly reports to FINCON
- Reconciliation of Treasury Bills and Bond portfolio on Finacle Treasury to DEPOx/CSCS
- Interface with the Central Bank of Nigeria (“CBN”), FMDQ. CSCS and all other counter parties on matters relating to Bonds & TBILLS
- Processing of coupon payment for both the bank and customers
- Monitoring the authenticity of the accounting entries passed by Finacle Treasury
- Thorough preparation of Bond Analysis report to stakeholders on a daily basis.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Trade Functions
- First Degree in any discipline
- TROPS Certification (ACI), master degree and other professional certification (added advantage)

Job Title: FX Funding and Allocation Officer

Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing and delivery of all FX allocation for all products
- To provide strong support in delivery service excellence for the assigned unit or department and ensure successful implementation of all turn-around-time (TAT) as agreed with both internal and external customers. Transfer of funds to various offshore accounts (Intra-bank) as advised by Treasury Dept.

- Transfer to other banks for cross-currency settlement (FX Switches)
- Handles FX Allocation with diligence and accuracy, ensuring all information are accurately captured
- Engagement with the internal and external stakeholders on product and prompt settlement of coupons Inter-bank for FX Spot/Swap/Placement/Takings.
- Responsible for daily and periodic reconciliation of Nostro, GL and Suspense accounts, ensuring open items are timely closed on all transactions processed.
- Operationalize the associated risk control measures on FX allocations.
- Enforces presentation of compliant documents on vendor and service payments
- Attend enquiries and issues resolution requests from the FX allocation to customers.
- Laisse with Treasury on resolution of FX allocation with wrong details

- Support the coordination and planning of the annual Board Strategy Retreat event for the Commercial Bank and subsidiaries including making presentations on industry insight to assist the Commercial Banking Management in its decision-making function, coordinating presentations of each member of the Management Committee and relevant (SRFs) to ensure appropriate message is delivered to the Board and Management
- Identify Bank’s preparedness to leverage economic opportunities, mitigate risks, or absorb shocks; synthesize and communicate economic developments and research outcomes
- Provides internal advice and support to all levels of the organization on the quality of industry and competitor research and analysis, methodologies, and frameworks on key issues.
- Take ownership of self-development and responsibility for implementing team’s learning and development Plans
- Comply with relevant industry policies and regulation, remaining alert to operational risks and compliance issues
Requirements
- Minimum Education: First Degree in Economics or related discipline
- Postgraduate degree or other professional qualification may be an added advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in the financial services industry, preferably in similar roles or other roles involving working with data.
