Responsibilities
- Track & Keep commitments to deliver the requested material on time, to the correct location, and with the proper quantity.
- Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Determines material requirements to meet production schedules and Finished Goods demand.
- Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing and production.
- Ensure efficient inventory management i.e. the flow of finished goods in line with requirements at regional warehouses, without excessive stock or stock outs.
- Oversees the company’s overall planning strategies to maximize process efficiency, productivity and profitability.
- Execute Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to balance the supply and demand plan with a forward looking view and highlight areas of risk for contingency planning and decision making.
- Maintain integrity of planning data to improve planning processes and systems.
- Conduct monthly root cause analysis of KPI’s deviations and identify/drive corrective actions.
- Co-ordinates New Product Introduction and phase-out of materials to ensure minimum stock write-off for NPI’s or artwork change.
