Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • A clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Conducts daily sales calls to corporate clients.
  • Provide Quick and timely responses, and immediate communication to the properties, and develop professional long-term business relationships.
  • Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. generating proposals, Corporate Rate Application letter, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.

Requirements
Education

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years experience in sales and marketing in a 3 to 5 star hotel.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • Empathy towards your customers and colleagues.
  • Pride and attention to detail.
  • Polished personal presentation with a Warm, confident, and hospitable personality.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the property’s overall accounting and financial management requirements.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and operating results.
  • Responsible for verifying all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulations.
  • Assists proactively with cost control requirements
  • Reviewing all ledger details guest ledger, city ledger, and deposit ledgers to validate proper payment and revenue posting
  • Review the postings, payments, revenue, and guest balance reports on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
  • Maintain banking relationships and negotiated loans and merchant services for business units.
  • Maintains files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.
  • Maintain and transfer money between bank accounts as required.
  • Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies
  • Identifying and resolving any financial discrepancies
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions
  • Preparing financial reports for the hotel management team

Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
  • Great knowledge of accounting systems (Access Dimensions, Quick Books, SAGE, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • Must be certified by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).

Experience:

  • 10 to 15 years of demonstrated accounting experience, preferably in a2 to 5-star hotel or food and beverage environment

Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Manage relations with the sales department.
  • Manage all account queries and disputes.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and ensure all debtor’s accounts are reconciled regularly.
  • Daily review of Accounts Receivable ledger and monitor incoming payments.
  • maintain all the debtor’s ledger with regular review of the aged accounts.
  • Monitor the AR ledger on a daily basis, If any discrepancies are found then corrective measures are to be taken after coordinating with the PMS vendor
  • Ensure prompt, accurate, and efficient system for billing of current and aged accounts.
  • Review the Guest Ledger High Balance report daily and report discrepancies, ensuring check-in / check-out procedures are followed.
  • Ensure the timely credit collections of all outstanding payments.
  • Follow up on all overdue accounts and send to debt collectors, as required.
  • Perform an audit trail for all debtor’s accounts to ensure that proper documentation is in place and charges are accurate.
  • Collaborating with managers to ensure that all associated accounting requirements are adhered to in accordance with established procedures/timelines.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent certification.

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role or supervisory experience in Credit and Collections in any 3 to 5-star hotel.
  • Ability to compile facts and figures. Command of the English language both written and verbal. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel / Word) and experience withSage PMS
