- Oversee the management of investment portfolios, including monitoring performance, identifying risks, and developing investment strategies.
- Conduct in-depth review and analysis on potential investment opportunities, including financial statements, economic data, and market trends.
- Maintaining new and existing client relationships, including meeting with them to discuss their portfolio performance and investment objectives.
- Monitor and report on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may affect their portfolio performance.
- Analyse and evaluate potential risks associated with portfolio and implementing risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with other investment professionals, including research analysts, and traders, to ensure optimal portfolio performance.
- Continuously improve investment processes and systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generating an investment policy statement, outlining our clients’ investment objectives.
- Ensuring the performance of investment portfolios, and adherence with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related discipline
- A Master’s Degree or professional qualification will be an added advantage
- 3 to 5 years’ of professional portfolio management experience.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Detailed understanding of capital markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
