Qualifications:
- Education: A University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Numeric Science, or its equivalent.
- Professional Qualifications: ITIL certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of programming experience.
- Multi-lingual ability is an advantage.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in developing software in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment.
- Strong understanding of Microservice architecture, Container, and DevOps CI/CD technology.
- In-depth experience in programming languages and standards, including but not limited to JAVA, REST, XQuery, XPATH, XSLT, JMS, Memcached, Oracle Middleware components, Linux, MySQL, JSF, and Spring MVC, web components, SQL, other database languages, NoSQL, structured and unstructured databases, PL/SQL.
- Intermediate knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle and Programming Languages.
- Good understanding of workflow systems, Oracle Banking Platform (OBDX, Flexcube), and digital technology.
- Adequate knowledge of software methodologies and design patterns.
- Knowledge of governing security standards.
- In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
- Availability and willingness to travel to other locations as required.

3). Recovery Portfolio Officer

Job Description
Financial:
- Ensure budgeted items are achieved and possibly surpassed.
- Maintain profitable relationships with Recovery Agents/Receiver Managers.
- Prudent use of Bank assets deployed to assist on the job.
Process:
- Prepare weekly/monthly Affiliate and Group recovery reports.
- Prepare a detailed breakdown of the monthly spooled Memorandum portfolio from the Memo Portal into regions.
- Circulate the monthly Memorandum portfolio of the bank with the Business Segments.
- Prepare CBN monthly return report for debt recoveries.
- Prepare Recovery Bank MPR and other presentation slides.
- Perform weekly and monthly proof of balances in both Memo recovery account and Agent collection account.
- Spool memo GL accounts on BO weekly to review the entries and balances on the account.
- Make daily calls through bulk customers with low balances who owe the bank to pay up their bad debts.
- Onboard new DRAs (Debt Recovery Agents) and assign accounts to new DRAs.
- Manage DRAs and settle commission payments to DRAs.
- Review and appraise debt recovery agent’s performance periodically.
- Post Memo recoveries on the Memorandum portal.
- Reconcile the Memorandum portal entries.
- Collate and manage the Daily Activity Reports of Recovery Officers.
- Respond to all correspondences to the Recovery Bank by customers within 24 hours maximum and/or send out hold mails.
- Manage the Recovery Bank Depository link records.
- Maintain digital records of all debtors’ engagement and documents.
- Act as a backup for the Recovery Bank Administrative Officer.
