Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Fixed Asset)
Location: Nigeria
Purpose of the Job
- To consolidate Group PPE movement schedule and support in the preparation of the company PPE movement schedule while ensuring proper and accurate record keeping and accounting of all company fixed assets in the register.
The Job
- Consolidate and support the group PPE (Property plant & equipment schedule) movement while ensuring proper and accurate record keeping and accounting of all company fixed assets in the register.
- Carry out capex code and budget monitoring creation for subsidiaries & resolve all capex related issues.
- Transfer of CWIP (Capital work in progress) for Subsidiaries; by setting up journals for transferring of completed projects to fixed asset.
- Manage capitalization of fixed assets for subsidiaries.
- Prepare report showing list of projects approved & capex spent for the month.
- Prepare monthly report showing transfers from CWIP to PPE & report showing list of each capex project Vs budget.
- Set up and create fixed assets account for each items of assets in the module for subsidiaries and support same for FMN.
- Prepare sales proceeds & asset disposal schedule.
- Provide support documents to auditors when necessary and as at when due.
- Provide support to assistant accountant when necessary & assist FMN GL manager.
Qualifictions
- OND in Accounting, Finance, and other related courses.
- Professional qualification in accounting, finance, banking, or economics, ICAN/ ATS is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience with Fixed Asset, Data analysis, Inventory etc.
The Person must:
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Have good analytical & problem- solving skills.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Job Title: Insurance Recovery Officer
Location: Nigeria
Purpose
- To facilitate prompt recovery of company broken down trucks, those involved in accidents or impounded by agencies and collation of necessary documents for insurance claims, to claim all money due to the company through damage of company property and assets.
The Job
- Collaborate with fleet operations to ensure that accident cases are reported for recovery action.
- Ensure prompt recovery of trucks involved in accidents in any part of Nigeria.
- Ensure the security of company trucks, consignment, and driver on event of accident.
- Follow through with relevant authorities for road traffic accident-related reports.
- Undertakes collation, compilation of documents and liaise with insurance towards insurance claims and settlement of claims by concerned third parties.
- Maintain good working relationship with the Police, FRSC, LASTMA, and others, as it relates to accidents.
- Publish weekly/monthly breakdown and accident report.
- Negotiate and agree costs associated with insurance claims.
