DMV Nigeria Limited is a Support company with expertise in Management of Facilities, Operation and Maintenance of Diesel and Gas Powered Generating Sets and Installation of Mechanical and Electrical Distribution Components, Commissioning, Decommissioning, Manning (Provision of Technical Manpower Support), Installation, Repair and Maintenance of industrial Diesel and Gas Generators / Plants (Ranging from 20kva to Megawatt of Power).

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Technical Business Development Executive

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

  • Identification and development of new and existing business opportunities that leverage our assets and resources
  • Build and Maintain Existing Business Relationships by Liaising with existing clients for knowledge of future projects and possible manpower planning by developing Customer Centric Strategies that will further enhance business productivity and growth.
  • Preparation of appropriate documentation to assist in the execution of new business opportunities.
  • Develop a sound understanding of business plans for Clients projects. Provide inputs for business planning cycle.
  • Preparation of reports on status of related business opportunities. Maintain comprehensive records of progress in above opportunities.
  • Review insurance policy terms to determine whether a particular loss is covered by insurance.
  • Recommend improvements in products / Services, methods and procedures to prevent future problems.
  • Resolve customer complain regarding sales & service.
  • Work closely with line Manager to determine price schedule & discount rate.
  • Review operational record and report sales performance to line Manager to determine profitability.
  • Profile clients, source for leads, create database by indicating preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Work closely with Procurement / Account to prepare sales budget and for approvals.
  • Follow up on new clients and revamp old client’s database.
  • Create and share novel idea that is actualisable and profitable for brainstorming sessions
  • Ensure cross selling functions across all verticals of the business
  • Make visible the business brand via the right social media, marketing services to the target audience
  • Ensure client needs are met and exceeded at all times.
  • Strategic implementation of sales initiative, target driven and accomplish organisational set goals.

General accountabilities

  • Development of sound business plans in conjunction with management.
  • Identification of value generating opportunities in sync with existing business models.
  • Development of identified opportunities.
  • Manage and co-ordinate third party involvement that constitute the opportunities.
  • Report on progress to the development of opportunities.
  • Manage all related documentation and records/reports.

Job Title: Technical Support Officer

  • Provide solutions on issues relating to power generators at all sites.
  • Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair work for Clients on sites.
  • Ensure generator spare parts are maintained and stored effectively.
  • Perform regular inspections of office tools, and maintain a high level of housekeeping while discharging their duties.
  • Follow up with the procurement department on the purchase of needed spare parts.
  • Ascertain that the generator parts procured are of quality/ standards before taking them to the site.
  • Visit sites to ascertain technical faults in the client’s Generator and report back to the office.
  • Carry out complete over hauling on generator.
  • Ensure technical equipment and machinery are operational and efficient
  • Ensure generators, transformers, and the entire area of the generator are tidied up.
  • Clean, lubricate, and maintain the generator in order to prevent equipment failure or deterioration.
  • Obey all safety and PPE rules on site.
  • Near miss reporting and risk assessment.
  • Other duties as may be required in the course of any project of the company.

Job Description

  • Scheduling meetings and appointments, preparing weekly itineraries, maintaining organized diaries, preparing of relevant briefs, reports and addresses.
  • Participate in Governance related engagements
  • Arranging for CEO’s traveling.
  • Devising and maintaining office systems and processes, including data management, filing and retrieval system for the Executive.
  • Works closely and effectively, by keeping the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and following up appropriately.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

  • Screening and handling telephone calls, enquiries, requests for visitations as appropriate
  • Taking minutes and proceedings of important meetings where required.

  • Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.

  • Scheduling virtual and non-virtual meetings
  • Manage Stakeholders relationships under direction from and on behalf of the Board
  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO
  • Managing an extremely active calendar of appointments
  • Drafting and preparing confidential correspondence
  • Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO’s schedule is followed and respected.
  • Attend Board and other meetings and prepare Board minutes and formal resolutions
  • Ensure clients are attended to in a professional manner

Person Specification
Qualification / Education:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in Executive assistant
