Crescent University, Abeokuta is a brainchild of His Excellency Prince Bola Ajibola (SAN, CFR), former judge of the International Court of Justice. The University prides itself as the Citadel of Academic and Moral Excellence. Crescent was licensed and established in 2005 after approval by the Federal Government through the National Universities Commission (NUC). The vision of its founder was – To breed global citizens rather than “brilliant beats”, To nurture girl child education as the majority of females especially Muslims were at a disadvantage.

The University has since produced a galaxy of stars and industry captains within and outside Nigeria. Many of its Alumni who made the first class as undergraduates have replicated similar feats in universities in Europe and America during their postgraduate studies. Others have also made first class at the Nigerian Law School during their call to bar.
