About this Opportunity

  • We are now looking for a Delivery Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions based on the customer specifications and business needs.
  • Responsible for short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by being part of or working closely with the Core 3 team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical solutions.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for scope, defining and designing solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
  • Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis
  • Work with core team on list of potential activities and solutions
  • Develop technical presentations and lead customer discussions.
  • Support deployment of solution
  • Provide feedback to R&D
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing
  • Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build.

The skill you bring 

  • Education: Minimum of Bachelor level in Engineering (Telecommunications or ICT) or Computer Science from a reputable university
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience, with at least 2 years as Solution Architect applying relevant Portfolio Competence
  • Solid understanding and proven experience in Core Solutions with focus on UDM and/or Communication Services portfolio
  • Excellent E2E Solution Knowledge in any of the indicated domains
  • Candidate should have excellent designing, solutioning and system integration, network planning, optimization, adaptation, deployment and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in technical job roles is required, e.g., experience from work as Solution Architect and Integration Engineer
  • Proven experience in deployment of cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
What you will do:

  • Establish the project plan baseline: define project scope, secure the necessary resources and plans and supervise all activities
  • Drive project execution: track project activities, supervise and handle changes, conflicts, and critical issues
  • Handle customer and partner engagement: manage customer relationship-building confidence and trust, ensure project progress
  • Handle project finance: ensure financial system monitoring
  • Develop the business: participate to contract preparation and to pre-sales meeting
  • Mentor the project team and support their professional growth
  • Secure delivery compliance to both contractual and business case requirements
  • Actively seek to improve top and bottom lines, managing project finances and by identifying and driving add-on-sales opportunities
  • Drive improvement activities related to risk assessments and risk management
  • Work closely with the account team during presales, responsible for contract execution strategy, cost estimations, time & resource planning

Requirements
The Skills you bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum years of experience: More than 5 years in ICT
  • Demonstrable experience of several years in project manager role; or equivalent leadership role
  • Domain experience: Telecom BSS
  • Product Knowledge: Charging, Billing, Mediation, Catalog Manager, Order Care,
  • Experience in systems integration projects with high number integration points requiring heavy customization and non-standard integrations is an asset
  • Certification: PMI© project manager certification (PMP) or equivalent
  • Proven problem-solving skills and good in written & spoken communication
  • Customer focused and desire to understand business and customer needs
  • Professional attitude with solid ability to prioritize, manage time and deliver results
  • Good team player with high interpersonal skills
  • Financial Acumen & Analysis Skills
  • Customer and Market Insight
  • Proficiency in English, French is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Project management skills acquired through training, project management experience or other experience of using project management methods.
  • Experiences related to project management methodologies, techniques and tools.
  • Professional competence related to the project type and the nature of the project outcome.
  • Experience of working within the Telecom/IS/IT industry.
  • Experience working with multi-national global decentralized organizations with the ability to establish a good working climate in a virtual environment using phone, mail and collaboration tools as communication vehicles.
  • Experience/knowledge in Ericsson Business Process (EBP) IT Process, ITIL, eTOM.
