Job Summary
- As a Marketing Communications Business Partner within our Group Marketing Team, you play a pivotal role in driving the marketing efforts for our retail division.
- You will collaborate closely with the Group Marketing Team to align brand and marketing strategies, yet your primary focus will be tailoring campaigns and initiatives to suit the unique needs and objectives of the retail division.
- Reporting directly to the Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, you will ensure the conceptualization, development, and execution of the retail division’s holistic and tactical marketing plans as fits under the Masterbrand and group marketing agenda.
- You will be accountable for providing support for the division’s market research, competitor analysis, product positioning, customer acquisition and retention, and customer experience strategies.
- This role is for a strategic and creative thinker who can balance autonomy with teamwork in achieving marketing success.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Create targeted campaigns across various channels to promote products, services, and brand awareness.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- Deliver on the Retail Division’s Marketing objectives.
- Work with Group Marketing to align Brand Architecture
- Uphold and enhance the company’s brand identity across all communication channels.
- Align brand messaging and ensure consistency with brand manual.
- Lead the development of marketing collateral for the division including presentations, brochures, banners, etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and employees.
- Coordinate events, sponsorships, and community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Respond to inquiries and feedback from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Support with generating engaging content for various platforms, including website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
- Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Support the group marketing team to improve and achieve set individual and organizational goals.
- Support CEA with creative communication to stakeholders as aligned with brand tone of voice.
- Keep track of net promoter score as well as other customer experience metrics including acquisition and churn rate.
- Translate group brand promise to stakeholder division and escalate when threatened.
- Track mentions and alerts across all channels to ensure the brand reputation is optimal and protected.
- Execute crisis management at stakeholder division level and ensure strict compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- BA / B.Sc. / HND in Advertising, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and Marketing or related field (2.2/Upper Credit Minimum)
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the telecommunications/technology sector or advertising agency.
- Experience working within a group marketing structure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Understanding of marketing principles, branding strategies, and communication techniques.
- Ability to execute marketing strategies across ATL and BTL channels.
- Strong understanding of content marketing to support sales and customer experience.
- An eye for emerging consumer trends and identifying threats in competitive marketing.
- Data-driven mindset and an understanding of key marketing metrics in measuring success.
- Experience developing marketing reports to showcase KPI achievements leveraging such tools as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Job Title: Wi-Fi Engineer
Location: Nigeria

Job Summary
- The Wi-Fi Project/Systems Engineer is responsible for designing and deploying carrier grade and reliable Wi-Fi network infrastructure for enterprise customers in accordance with set SLAs.
- You are also responsible for overseeing the ‘support and maintenance’ of the installed Wi-Fi network infrastructure within ipNX (Core) as well as deployments for Enterprise Customers (Access).
- You will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all activities required to fulfil and maintain enterprise Wi-Fi Services to customers.
- These include: carrying out extensive surveys to first of all identify the optimal equipment and solutions for delivering the requested services, creating the design diagrams, initiating and completing the procurement process, carrying out the actual installations as projects as well as the maintenance of these installations.
- You are equally tasked with ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence during all levels of engagements with customers including during surveys, service delivery(installations) as well as during support calls/visits.
- In addition to the above, You are also required to provide routine in-house training where required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Wi-Fi surveys and provide accompanying reports with the most optimal and cost-effective solutions that meets the business objectives and set standards (SLAs)
- Deploy, Configure, Optimize and Monitor Wi-Fi infrastructure for enterprise customers as per agreed set standards and SLAs
- Recommend areas of improvements, product enhancements incl. new features and services that meets present and future needs of the customer
- Provide onsite and remote support for all enterprise Wi-Fi deployments where required. This includes event and managed wi-fi services.
- Ensure 99.9% network availability (incl. usability) for the Wi-Fi Platform and Core Systems
- Ensure 99.9% service availability (incl. usability) for enterprise Wi-Fi Customer services
- Provide regular updates including weekly reports as required
- Work with other teams/stakeholders to develop internal systems and processes that drive efficient fulfilment of set SLAs
- Ensure that company assets are accounted for, maintained and inventoried accurately
- Lead, without Micromanaging a team of Interns and Riggers
- Build and maintain a healthy relationship with enterprise customers and stakeholders during surveys, installation and support visits
- Attend seminars and trainings (incl. Webinars) related to product and sector.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSC Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT Related Disciplines
- At least 1 year experience within the telecoms space
- Understanding of Computer Networks and aspects of Project Management. Cisco Network Certification/PMP is a bonus
- Practical Experience with Network Connectivity Installations (Routers & Switches)
- Practical Knowledge of Wireless Technology and Installations (any of: RF, Radio,Microwave, GSM, LTE or Wi-Fi and Base Stations)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
- Microsoft Office Suite competence [Bonus: Visio, MS Project]
- Fluent English
- Exemplary Communication Skills
- Must be comfortable with MS Visio for drawing survey and network design diagrams.

- Creates all System Definition Model (SDM) technical documents: Functional Specs, Design docs, etc.
- Prepares routine periodic project status reports and communicates with customers, as needed
- Attends staff and technical meetings for the work unit
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2.1/ Upper Credit Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.
- Hands-on experience with Perl programming,Linux, Postgres RDBMS, and Apache web server required
- Demonstrated experience developing database-driven web applications using PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java, a plus
- Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS software. Freeside and FreeRadius, a big advantage
- Experience with software development (user experience) using JavaScript including libraries such as JQuery, Angular, React, Vue etc. XML,CSS3.0 (with dynamic, responsive web design with mobile devices), and other related UI technologies(HTML5 etc)
- Strong system integration skills
- Good understanding of web application development using HTTP REST, software standards,software development life cycle and methodologies
- Knowledge of software development process,quality control, and impact assessment
- Demonstrated knowledge in mobile platforms,internet technologies and user interface
- Experience working in a multi-platform (LINUX,Mac-OS and Windows) environment.
- Experience working with version control systems (Subversion, Git)
- Solid problem solver
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new tool sets, technology and concepts
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively, deal with changing priorities, and to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to present information and ideas clearly and succinctly and to explain various application software and hardware to end users.
