Job Title: Senior iOS (Swift) Engineer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a result-driven and analytical software engineer to work on our native iOS mobile application.
  • You’ll use your sound understanding of programming tools and languages to analyze current codes, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems and create a fantastic experience for users.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Design and build applications for the iOS platform
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience (ideally working in a start-up or scale-up)
  • Proficient with Swift Packet Manager and Cocoa Touch
  • Proficiency with UIKit/SwiftUI in building user interfaces
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and human interface guidelines
  • Experience with performance and memory management tools such as Profile Instruments
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
  • Familiar with CI/CD.

Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
  • QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
  • You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute both exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
  • Design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Monitor and analyze the results of the debugging process.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing after bug resolution.
  • Evaluate current products to identify and address deficiencies.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics throughout all production stages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to define system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
  • Plan, create, and manage the overall quality assurance strategy.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the QA process and recommend improvements.
  • Stay current with new testing tools and strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or C#.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • 4-5 years of experience in API Automation (Postman, REST assured)
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Have an understanding of Performance and Security testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Bitbucket.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the company’s success.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with good time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
