Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk-based audit plans
• Evaluate internal controls and risk management
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CBN, NMRC, etc.)
• Review credit and mortgage operations
• Provide advisory services to management
• Lead and develop the internal audit team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, etc. (Master’s preferred)
• ACA/ACCA/CPA + CIA (desirable)
• 10-15 years’ experience (5+ in senior role)
• Strong knowledge of mortgage banking and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Professional Qualifications (Mandatory / Strongly Preferred)
• Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or ANAN
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is highly desirable

Experience:

• 10–15 years’ post-qualification experience in banking, financial services, or audit.
