We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Officer, Marketing Communications

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Officer, Marketing Communications with strong personal & professional integrity to join the dynamic team in our Institution.
  • The Officer, Marketing Communications will be responsible for the delivery of communications-related activities such as content development, public relations initiatives, communication plans and events whilst promoting the profile and awareness of the Nile University brand through the implementation and coordination of a range of marketing communications activities.

He/she is expected to:

  • Develop, write, and edit marketing communications materials such as press releases, thought leadership, executive communications, letters, marketing flash, speeches, crisis management and website content.
  • Work with the Marketing Communications team to create and plan communication strategies and campaigns to enhance brand image and voice.
  • Help promote a positive image of Nile University to key internal and external audiences by preparing and disseminating information.
  • Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)
  • Coordinate and implement assigned websites, social media platforms, email marketing, online giving, and other online marketing strategies for University Advancement and assists by writing and editing content for these online strategies.
  • Perform quality assurance across all internal and external communications such as thought leadership articles, marketing flash, blog posts etc.
  • Maintain brand integrity across product categories, advertising, and all other internal and external communication platforms.
  • Exploit business intelligence and competitor analysis, utilizing market trends to always maintain brand leadership position.
  • Work in partnership with the marketing team to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public facing communications for the university including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Coordinate Media Relations activities both online and offline as well as track media coverage and follow industry trends.
  • Provide support and represent the University at open days, internal and external student recruitment events as and when required, including school events, open events, PR events etc.

Qualification & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2- 5 years’ work experience in Education industry or Agency.
  • Excellent public relations and corporate communications skill
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Communication skills – Ability to write attention-catchy ads.

  • We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and resultoriented Digital Marketing Officer with strong personal & professional integrity to join the dynamic team in our Institution.
  • The Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for implementing and managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, creating engaging content, and monitoring campaign performance to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness.

Responsibilities
He / She is expected to:

  • Plan, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising, with the goal of driving brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Media team to design and maintain monthly content calendars, ensuring the timely and effective deployment of creative and impactful content across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Communications, Sales, and other Support units, to ensure consistency in messaging, alignment with broader marketing objectives, and reinforcement of the university’s overall brand strategy.
  • Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends, emerging digital tools, and evolving best practices to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and strategic advantage in digital marketing.
  • Design and conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and other optimization initiatives to refine campaign targeting, improve user experiences, and maximize performance outcomes.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive monthly performance reports on digital campaigns, providing insights and actionable recommendations to management for data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and optimize the use of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to maximize return on investment and achieve campaign objectives within budget.
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing strategies, including audience segmentation, content personalization, and automation, to increase customer engagement, retention, and conversion rates.

Qualifications & Experience
