Responsibilities
- Provides input to the development of engineering scope, schedules, and budgets for the assigned project elements, monitoring progress to maintain those schedules and budgets.
- Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the Project with other Project Engineers, Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical and project support groups within the Company.
- May assist the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of the technical, fiscal, and administrative function of the project or study. Helps determine the technical skills and staff hours required.
- Ensures all engineering disciplines comply with client criteria, scope, Basis of design and application of regulations and codes. Understands the client’s business goals in order to enhance the project work. Interface with Technical Lead on engineering issues affecting the project.
- Prepares technical reports, and execution plans for sub-project activities, workshop charter, project manuals, and documentation of activity for the client and management. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and stewards issues and Action items to ensure timely closure.
- Review subcontractors/vendors documentation – plans and procedures, technical specifications. Etc.
- Obtains, analyses, and circulates technical and contractual information to engineering and other disciplines.
- Review and approves change orders. Notifies affected personnel of all changes. Ensures compliance with Approved Changed management procedure and EMS
- Interfaces with procurement in coordination with vendors/subcontractors. Assists in bid analysis, vendor availability and capability.
- Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate and matching with tasks assignment sheet, specific to the assigned project.
Requirements

Procurement/Subcontracts Management:
- Set clear objectives for the procurement and subcontracts team.
- Assess procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.
Construction Management:
- Set clear objectives for the Construction team.
- Interface with Construction manager on day-day activities
- Monitor the Construction Management function to ensure safe delivery of the project within cost and schedule objectives.
Requirements
