- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for goods and services.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable and quality supplies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract renewals and terminations.
- Prepare and review Purchase Order Forms accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
- Obtain necessary approvals and documentation for procurement transactions.
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of procured products to ensure timely receipt.
- Resolve delivery issues and track shipment statuses.
- Monitor procurement costs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
- Continuously review and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement automation and digital solutions to streamline workflows.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Conduct due diligence on vendors to mitigate potential risks.
- Prepare procurement reports, including spending analysis and vendor performance metrics.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize procurement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a procurement professional, preferably in a supervisory or executive role.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- 3 to 5 years’ experience working in IT sales, IT retail or Customer success in an IT firm
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects, as well as deploying IT infrastructure across many technologies
- Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and system management, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
- A high degree of technical expertise, as well as passion for new technology and its business applications.
