1). Technical Head Pasta

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Overseeing the technical operations, manufacturing, quality and R&D of pasta manufacturing units across Nigeria.
  • Develop new technology for, pasta, cereals based products, Handling, cleaning, extracting, treating, and packaging
  • Managing Turnkey projects from the raw-material handling, processing, treatments, and packaging
  • Provide direct leadership for day-to-day technical activities for company’s commercial product manufacturing i.e., trouble shooting, process changes and improvements, new manufacturing technology implementation etc.
  • Technological support & Collaborate with the engineering department to develop new equipment and machines.
  • In-depth exposure in handling new project expansions (brown /green field)
  • Leads the of a culture development and embedding of risk-based continuous improvement and operational excellence within manufacturing.
  • Product Development Module to facilitate modification of existing products
  • Ensure the health and safety of all subordinates within company guidelines and current legislation.
  • Ensure all functional management are aware of the correct codes of practice, both statutory and advisory, that govern accepted standards of safe operation at all premises. Ensure production plant causes the minimum of dust and noise both internally and externally.

  • Technical due diligence and turning around the pasta plant


  • 15-20 years of Experience Bachelor’s degree in Food Science,
  • Pasta manufacturing experience preferred, with previous experience in managing large scale operations and implementing behaviour based safety programs
  • Demonstrate strategic planning experience
  • Strong organizational skills, including experience managing multiple high-priorities simultaneously
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills


2). Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

To organize and control all aspects of the maintenance function maintaining all processes, utilities, power plant and Project Management.

Key Deliverables

  • Optimize utilization of processing and quality resources in the country to derive maximum capacity utilization and efficiencies and to eliminate controllable losses and minimize the impact of non-controllable losses.
  • Project Management – Managing a team of various OEM’s, local contractors, coordination between all stake holders, knowledge of various project management tools etc.
  • Manage external contractors in a cost effective manner – seek to challenge their costs and performance to ensure cost effective yet quality service.
  • Through managers, maintain and administer all personnel records and systems relating to employees (excluding records of sickness, absenteeism and holidays, recorded in the General Office).
  • Maintain and monitor processes in respect of breakdown and performance. (Running hours; kW/t; capacity per hour against set targets. (KPI)  React to variances.
  • Ensure hygiene standards in all areas are maintained to the highest standards at a minimum above those required by BRC.
  • Through respective managers, ensure the safe keeping of all company agreements, financial instruments etc.
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of all subordinates within Company guidelines and current legislation.
  • Ensure all functional management are aware of the correct codes of practice, both statutory and advisory, that govern accepted standards of safe operation at all premises. Ensure production plant causes the minimum of dust and noise both internally and externally.
  • By regular site inspection and training, ensure full employee awareness of safe working practices and their role in maintaining the required standards. (ongoing exercise)

Operational Effectiveness

  • Through managers identify personnel training needs. Actively promote training and personal development on site.  (Costs to be controlled within agreed budgets).
  • Monitor the power plant efficiency and control on the power generation cost.
  • Compliance with all process certifications (FSSC, ISO, NAFDAC, HACCP etc.)
  • Maintaining R & M expenses within the budget.
  • On time completion of Minor CAPEX and within budget


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering. QEHS, HACCP and Project Management related certification will be an added advantage.
  • 8 + years’ experience of handling maintenance, utilities and projects in several jobs as Mechanical/Electrical engineer and project related management. Preferably flour milling, pasta processing or any FMCG.
