Hyde Energy began operations in Nigeria, importing and exporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and selling clean petroleum products. These operations established our base as a trading company. We enhanced our import and export activities by: acquiring a tank farm for storing petroleum products & securing a two-year term contract for LPG export.

Hyde Energy’s vision is rooted in our desire to be a leading oil trading and marketing company by brand presence, service delivery and profitatability. We make good use of the expertise of our people, who have extensive technical and practical knowledge of the West and Central African oil-producing regions. Over the years, we have expanded our business portfolio into crude oil, reï¬ned oil products, LPG and dry bulk commodities. Similarly, our reach has grown, and we serve customers from offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Mauritius, London and Malta.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Principal QC Inspector (Coating and Insulation)

Location: Rivers

Job Requirements

Requires Degree or equivalent and professional registration in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical / Materials Engineering, or a related field covering both disciplines.
Professional memberships (e.g., MNSE, MNIMech, MNATE, COREN) are an advantage.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality control inspection, with hands-on inspection experience in coating, painting, and/or insulation activities, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
Prior work in a construction yard with contractor teams is essential.
Minimum Level II NACE or SSPC Coating Inspector Certificate.
Have competency in the use and assessment of Safety Management System and procedures.

Location: Rivers State and Offshore Nigeria

Job Requirements

Requires Degree or equivalent and professional registration in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical / Materials Engineering, or a related field covering both disciplines.
Professional memberships (e.g., MNSE, MNIMech, MNATE, COREN) are an advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control inspection, with hands-on inspection experience in piping, mechanical static, welding and NDT activities, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
Prior work in a construction yard with contractor teams is essential.
Welding Inspection Certification: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI.
ASNT Level II certification in basic NDE methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT).
Have competency in the use and assessment of Safety Management System and procedures.
Familiar with the Flawless Project Delivery and Flawless Surveillance Program.
