- The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, tracking income and expenses, preparing financial reports, supporting financial planning, and ensuring accurate accounting processes.
- The role requires strong computer literacy, dedication, financial discipline,and retail accounting experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A dedicated, computer-literate accountant with a minimum of 2 years experience, strong financial discipline, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage supermarket financial operations effectively while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts
- Record daily sales, income, and expenses
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Manage cash flow and expense tracking
- Reconcile accounts and financial statements
- Monitor payments, invoices, and receipts
- Track supplier payments and outstanding balances
- Support budgeting and financial planning
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
- Prepare payroll support data when required
- Support audits and financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements
