Description

  • Our client is looking out for someone who have a comprehensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, regulatory matters related to financial reporting, skillful in the use of spreadsheet programs like Excel etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing, monitoring, and managing project budgets to ensure costs remain within approved limits.
  • Generating accurate and timely financial reports on project expenditures, revenues, and forecasts for stakeholders.
  • Recording and reconciling project-related expenses, invoices, and payments in line with company policies.
  • Ensuring project finances comply with accounting standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements; supporting audits when necessary.
  • Analyzing financial data to assess project profitability, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications like ACA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and project cost management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or MS Excel) and project management tools.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • High level of accuracy in financial records, with strong written and verbal communication to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
